Onward to sectional

The Bulldog wrestling team continues to build upon another great season.

The team closed out the regular season by claiming a conference title, and now the team has won a regional title. This allows the team to compete at the Dual Team Sectional, which will
be held in Taylorville on February 24.

Ledin reaches 300th career win

The Mahomet-Seymour wrestling team went undefeated for the week, dominating all five of their matches.

On January 20 they defeated both Pontiac and Prairie Central, scoring a total of 111 points for the meet.
Two days later they easily took down Champaign Central by a score of 54 to 21. The match had great significance as it was Coach Rob Ledin’s 300th career victory.

Wrestlers have strong showing at home invite

The Mahomet-Seymour wrestling team kept their dominant season going this past week.

They went 4 and 0 during their dual meets and had great success at the 35th annual Marty Williams Invitational, hosted by MSHS.

The Bulldogs started their busy week on January 13 with a meet at Monticello High School. The Bulldogs’ first match was against the Saint Thomas More Sabers.
