The only driver not wearing a seat belt during a seven-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon near Mahomet was also the only driver injured.
State police said no tickets had yet been issued as of Tuesday night.
Census shows village growth

Savoy, Mahomet and St. Joseph were the fastest-growing communities in Champaign County percentage-wise over the past 10 years, according to the Census Bureau.
Champaign County is now among the state’s top 10 counties in terms of population.
The Census Bureau rolled out detailed statewide 2010 census data for Illinois on Tuesday afternoon.
