M-S wrestling wins fifth straight regional crown

URBANA — This wasn't the way this year was supposed to go. After losing over a dozen huge seniors, M-S wrestling faced a year of uncertainty.

But thanks to some big-time performances from some unsung heroes, the Bulldogs won the Class 2A Urbana Regional last Saturday. It was the program's fifth straight regional title.

DEWEY — James B. Breedlove, 59, of Dewey died at 10:06 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital.

"Jim" was born Dec. 31, 1958, in Urbana, the oldest son of William B. and Dorothy (Peterson) Breedlove. He was raised in rural Dewey with his younger brother Carl. Jim was a 1977 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School.
